Great design starts with a simple line in 3ds Max and ends with a story told in 3D.
This mini-course was designed with one clear mission: to break the myth that 3ds Max and V-Ray are hard to learn.
Whether you’re just getting started or you’ve dabbled in 3D before, this course will guide you step-by-step to recreate the iconic Farnsworth House by Mies van der Rohe from a blank viewport to a fully rendered architectural scene.
You’ll model the house and its environment entirely inside 3ds Max, scatter trees and grass using Chaos Scatter, set up a cinematic camera and lighting, create realistic V-Ray materials, and apply professional render settings for a beautiful final shot. Then, we’ll take it a step further with light post-production in Photoshop to give your render that final polish.
But this course isn’t just about tools and techniques. It’s about confidence.By the end, you won’t just walk away with a stunning final render, you’ll walk away with the mindset that you can do this. And that’s the real achievement.
